General awareness of how to use condoms is low.
Program Description
Program objectives are to promote access to Prudence condoms and produce communication campaigns to prevent or slow the spread of HIV/AIDS and unwanted pregnancies among the general population and high risk groups in particular. Signage is used to show IPC participants where Prudence condoms are available, and IPC staff distribute brochures to reinforce health messages.
Research Summary
Research has not been conducted to develop the condom information pamphlet. This material was borrowed from Rwanda and provides general information about condoms.
